New Mortgage Broker Training and Certificate IV Qualifications
The mortgage and finance industry in Australia is subject to regulation for both consumer and member protection. These regulations require that all mortgage brokers must hold a Certificate IV in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking). Once completed, this qualification allows you to become accredited with banks, lenders and relevant industry associations.
Certificate IV courses are conducted by a number training organisations including local TAFE Colleges; Loan Market also co-ordinates group training on Certificate IV (conducted by Intellitrain, a leading financial services training organisation).
New Loan Market mortgage brokers will also have access to an induction course designed to provide essential knowledge in areas of industry compliance, lending process, business development, marketing practises, referral relationship development, lead generation, client management skills and more.
