Our Loan Market Dunedin team have helped many locals living in the Greater Dunedin area into their new home. We treat a mortgage as a relationship not a transaction. We manage our clients’ mortgage for the life of the loan and whenever interest rates come up for renewal, we renegotiate on your behalf with the bank to make sure you are always on the best deal.
We’re big into advice. We can advise you about fixing or floating your interest rate and share ideas on how to minimise the interest on home loans and maximise any tax benefits on investment loans. We specialise in helping first home buyers and investors find the right loan. We’re experts in how you can use your KiwiSaver funds to buy your new home and know exactly which lenders will support you.
I would like to thank Brian and the team for helping my family secure our house. The team were patient while we went through several different property options. Every question and hurdle we threw at them was tackled with a positive outcome. We will continue to use their services whenever possible as the professionalism of the team have shown is outstanding.
We’ll assess your situation and recommend competitive loan options.
Buying your first home can be daunting, but it doesn’t need to be. We explain all the jargon and talk you through what might work best for you. We understand the finer points of using your KiwiSaver to help you buy your first home, including how the first home buyers grant works.
Talk to us about the different finance options, you don’t need a 20% deposit as many people believe, 10% can be fine and we can even arrange 100% finance if you have a suitable guarantor to assist, which can be done on very friendly terms for the guarantor.
We know that you probably want to focus on investment returns, not paperwork. The right loan with the right features will help you save time and money. We understand what’s happening in the Dunedin real estate market because we live here. We take the time to understand your unique situation and investment strategy and can advise which loans will suit your needs best.
We know that Dunedin is a hotspot for self-employed people and specialise in helping you into the right loan. If you work for yourself, it can be difficult to get all the necessary paperwork together. Lo-doc loans do away with the need for traditional proof of income like company financials or tax returns and are a great option for self-employed New Zealanders to finance their property.
We make sure you’re not penalised if you’re putting lots of personal expenses through your business and can asset lend if this is the right solution for you. You’ll still need to satisfy a few requirements and Brian and the Loan Market Dunedin team will talk you through your options.
You might be starting your business or going through a period of growth or change. Our Loan Market Dunedin team know that finance is a crucial part of the success of your business. We’ll take into account your needs and finances to find the right loan for your situation and review your loan regularly to make sure you’re always on the best deal.
We’ve won a number of awards and are most proud of winning New Zealand’s Financial Services Business of the Year in 2010, and every year for the past five, we’ve been finalists in the New Zealand Mortgage Broker of the Year awards, with Sally winning in 2009.
I founded the business ten years ago, but clocked up twenty years banking experience before that. It’s a gratifying business that we’re in.
I love seeing clients using our bouncy castle. That’s right, we have a 4x4 bouncy castle for clients to use at their school fairs, children’s parties and fundraisers. I’m too old to play rugby now but I enjoy coaching kids rugby. My own two kids are 12 and 10 and I love all things family, mountain biking and road cycling.
Buying a property is a huge decision and being able to offer professional guidance through the whole process and for life of the loan is very rewarding. I enjoy coaching my children in their various sporting codes and being involved in their school activities. I also enjoy cooking, gardening and playing all sports.
I have been advising people like you for over 25 years. To me, a mortgage is not just a one-off transaction but an on-going relationship where I’m always available. In my spare time enjoy supporting my daughters in their wide range of sporting endeavours and I’ve been involved with rugby since I was five.
I am extremely passionate about what I do and I find I relate well with my clients as I have the right mix of enthusiasm, youthfulness and industry knowledge. Outside of advising I spend my spare time playing sport and travelling this great country of ours.
